Once you have installed rOOki on your PC, it runs automatically. If you have not chosen to launch rOOki automatically, you can launch it by double clicking on its icon from WINDOWS® desktop.

rOOki will ask you to define a password to access to rOOki settings.

• at the bottom left corner, the KEY allows you to access to the GUARDIAN desktop who can:
  • create and manage Users accounts;
  • adjust internet settings;
  • give to each account the only softwares and documents which will be available for the User;
  • manage session time (BASIC version).

• next to it, the DOOR LOCK allows you to access to the ADMINISTRATOR desktop who can:
  • adjust main interaction settings between rOOki and WINDOWS®;
  • choose if rOOki must run automatically when WINDOWS® starts;
  • put in a SHARED FOLDER all the softwares and all the files which will be assigned by the GUARDIAN to each User, according to his age and his activities.
  
  
• at the bottom right corner, the QUIT button allows you to close rOOki and return on the WINDOWS® desktop.

Of course, the password which allows to access to these three buttons must not be shown to kids.
The GUARDIAN and the ADMINISTRATOR can be the same person!

Some additionnal details:

• during the installation, the password is unique and allows to access to these three features;
  
• if the ADMINISTRATOR and the GUARDIAN are not the same person, for example at school, you just need to custom one or the other from his desktop;
  
• if you forget the password, an security password is available in the HELP file. We suggest you to write it down. You can also contact us with this website.

Once the password is created, you can create a first kid account.
